Throughout the year, the earth is divided into two poles, some with pleasant environments and some with harsh environments. So some friends who live in such environments asked our colleagues from the foreign trade business department, what kind of water cup is suitable for harsh environments? Can plastic water cups be used?
This is the first time I have encountered this question. I have encountered it before. Which water cup is suitable for use in summer? What kind of water bottle is suitable for winter? The question is because this friend directly listed the conditions. The water cup must be exposed to an environment of minus 40℃ for 48 hours, and then exposed to an environment of 80℃ above zero for 24 hours. In this way, the water cup with a temperature difference of 120℃ is still It needs to maintain good performance, neither the function of use nor the structure of the water cup can be damaged, and the service life of the water cup cannot be less than 12 months under such conditions. Meeting these conditions is indeed not something that all water cups can do.
Glass water cups will burst under such a temperature difference, and ceramic water cups are obviously suitable for such an environment due to their shape. The first thing that can satisfy the requirement is stainless steel water cups, but under a temperature difference of 120°C, it is still recommended to use a single-layer stainless steel water cup. A vacuumed stainless steel water cup may very well cause damage to the vacuum layer of the water cup under such a high temperature difference, and seriously cause personal injury. Physical injury, because the current production equipment of water cup factories is rarely capable of testing from minus 40 degrees Celsius to above zero 80 degrees Celsius. This situation will not occur with single-layer stainless steel water cups.
So in addition to stainless steel water cups, can plastic water cups be used? The answer is yes. Plastic materials have low-temperature resistance. This material can withstand high temperature differences and will not cause damage to the water cup due to the environment. But the cost of such materials is higher than the cost of ordinary plastic materials. As for what material it is? Please contact us via private message.
