Under what kind of usage environment can serious paint peeling occur on the surface of a water bottle?
Based on my work experience, I will analyze what are the reasons for this phenomenon. Generally speaking, it is not caused by improper use. Just a joke, unless the water cup has been used by consumers for a long time, as long as childhood. When I grow up, then I have children, haha.
From the analysis of the production quality issues that caused this phenomenon, first of all, it may be a problem with the paint materials. The materials are not up to standard. Even if they are produced according to standard operating requirements, this phenomenon may still occur. (However, in the editor’s experience in the industry, although I have experienced problems with paint materials that are not up to standard, I have never seen such a serious one.)
Every stainless steel water cup must go through a polishing and cleaning step before spraying paint. If this step is not performed, the adhesion of the paint will be seriously reduced after spraying. There is a possibility of serious phenomena like the one in the picture.
After spraying paint on stainless steel water cups, they must be baked under strict temperature and time control, so as to increase the adhesion of the paint. Insufficient temperature or excessive temperature will cause quality problems in the product. If the temperature is not high, the adhesion will be low, and the finished product will be used for a period of time. This phenomenon does occur. Although too high a temperature will not have a significant impact on paint adhesion, it will directly change the color of the finished paint.
If this happens occasionally, it is not caused by the first and third operations. The second one is the most likely.
Friends, if you are worried about the paint peeling off after purchasing a water cup, you can find a pencil or wooden object and gently tap the surface of the water cup without using too much force. After all, the merchant will not return the water cup if there are dents. Yes, if there is a real possibility of paint peeling, you can detect it with a gentle tap. The most obvious one is the appearance of slight cracks on the paint surface. When tapping, it is best to tap close to the mouth of the cup.
